(Indian Railway style)
Bored with your regular omelette? It is time to tweak your daily breakfast a little bit. Try this Bread Omelette and give your first meal of the day a whole new identity. Trust us, this is the best dish to start a great day with.
Whole egg 2 nos
Onion chopped 50
Tomato chopped half
Curry leaf 1
Vegetable oil 10
Salt ( to taste )
Break the egg into a bowl – 1 egg per 1 bread.
Add onion, tomato, green chilli, curry leaf and some salt to taste, then mix it.
Heat a non-stick pan, when a pan is a hot place the bread in the pan.
Toast both sides of the bread and keep it aside. (if needed you can remove the crust of the bread)
In the same pan pour some oil and spread it
Pour egg into the pan and place the toasted bread and pour some egg on top of the bread as well.
Spread it nicely so that it coats everywhere on the bread.
Fold from the sides to bring everything together so that the edge is not exposed.
Cook for 1 or 2 minutes then turn it and cook for another 2 minutes. (turn and cook both sides till it give nice brown colour)
Once cooked transfer to a plate.
Place the bread omelette on a chopping board, cut it into 4 quarters. (nice 4 triangle shape)
Arrange it in a nice clean plate and serve it with Masala tea or normal tea.
