An Amazingly Tasty 30 Minutes Recipe for Easy Home Made Chicken / Beef Lasagna

Lasagna, or sometimes Lasagne, pronounced ,is a very wide, flat pasta (sometimes with wavy edges). It is usually served in alternating layers of cheese, a sauce, and often other ingredients such as meat sauce, or vegetable. Typical of the central cuisine of Italy, many regional variations exist. In some areas, especially in the southern regions of Italy, the sauce is likely to be a simple tomato sauce and ragù, whereas in other areas, particularly in NorthernItaly, a Béchamel sauce is used more generously . Ingredients (for 4 portion of 200 gm )
 
Pre-cooked lasagna sheets 1pkt
 
Filling
  • chicken diced(or beef mince) 400 gm
  • olive oil extra virgin 20 ml
  • plum tomato peeled and chopped 100 gm
  • galic chopped 20 gm
  • basil leaf 5 gm
  • smoked paprika 2 gm
  • chilly flakes 3 gm
  • salt to taste
 
Cheese sauce
  • cheddar grated 100 gm
  • flour plain 10 gm
  • butter 10 gm
  • milk 100 ml
  • salt to taste
  • Nutmeg dust for flavor

 

To Finish

  • Grated Mozzarella cheese 50 gm
  • olives 20 gm
  • baby plum Tomato 4 no

 

How we can achieve

Filling

  • Heat olive oil in a thick bottom and comparatively larger sauce pan, brown garlic , sweat onion.
  • add diced chicken brown the chicken for crispy sides that gives pleasant aroma
  • add chopped tomato concasse cook till chicken is done adjust seasoning
  • finish with hand broken basil leafs more freshness
  • leave aside for cooling, mean while move on to cheese sauce


Cheese sauce

  • Heat sauce pan with butter
  • add flour cook with out coloring when it starts giving a nutty aroma pour milk
  • if the milk is hot its better to avoid lumps
  • stir continuously to avoid lump or you can strain after seasoning and add nutmeg
  • allow to cool

To arrange

  • apply butter on the lasagna dish , pour a thin layer of cheese sauce
  • arrange lasagna sheet with out any gap,you can break the sheets to cover properly
  • layer the sheet with chicken filling , cover with another layer of lasagna sheet and cover with cheese sauce
  • you can repeat the process till you get to the top of the dish or your filling gets finish
  • the last or top layer finish with cheese sauce and cover with grated Mozzarella

To Bake

  • Preset an oven with 170c temperature 
  • bake for 20 minutes and make sure the top gives a nice caramalised color
  • Even if you didn’t get the color after 20 minutes leave inside the oven for another 5 minutes with a temperature of 180-190c
  • cut into 200gm serving size garnish with olives and baby plum shown as per the picture
